At Little Learners, we feel it is highly important that children are provided with a healthy balanced diet. Therefore we have developed our menu using guidance and recipes from leading nutritionists.
One more distinguishing feature of our menu is our vegetable patch, which children have full participation with, where they will be gaining a knowledge and understanding of how vegetables grow, and they will be keen to try their produce. What better way to encourage children to eat their greens!?
Vegetarian options are always available. We will keep vegetarian meals as healthy and varied as the non vegetarian meals using vegetables, quorn and soya substitutes. All allergy and dietary requirements are catered for.
Meal times are viewed as a social occasion and staff sit at the table with the children, and usually share some of the nursery lunch with them, role modelling good table manners and social skills.
When weaning your baby, please speak to your childs key person, so that we can follow your requirements. Our specialist baby room team will be available to give advice and support when it is time to start weaning.
