Hi

My name is Kirsty and I am a level 2 Nursery Nurse based in the toddler room.

From a very young age I knew that I wanted to work with children, so after leaving school I went to work in a nursery doing a work based apprenticeship and this is how I gained my level 2 qualification in children’s care, learning and development. Whilst working in this setting I gained lots of experience with children of all ages ranging from 8 weeks - 4 years 11 months. I worked in this nursery for 2 years and thoroughly enjoyed my experience.

I then decided that I wanted to try something different and therefore I went to work for Thomas Cook as a Kids World Representative in Greece where I spent 6 months working in a kids club which was great fun!

I have also gained experience working with young adults with learning disabilities, however, I am now working hard towards my level 3 and look forward to completing this very soon!
