Hi, I’m Sharon

I am the Playwork Manager for the Out of School Club and a Senior Nursery Nurse for the whole nursery.

I have a practically grown up family of my own and it was 6 years ago I decided to change my career from retail to childcare as it had always been a deep down desire of mine to work with children.

Before joining the fabulous team at Little Learners I worked within a large, busy nursery and obtained my NVQ level 2 and 3 in Early Years Care and Learning.

I have a sound knowledge of the Early Years Foundation Stage and I understand the importance of delivering the six areas of learning to the children and promoting their learning, development and understanding of the world in which they live.

Having been given the fantastic opportunity of working with children aged between 4 and 12, there will always be exciting projects and themes undertaken. The children are very keen and enthusiastic to add their own ideas and initiate their own learning through freedom and choice.

Little Learners is just the most welcoming nursery. All the staff are very friendly and warm to the children and parents and we all work well together to make a fantastic team. I can honestly say that I am very proud to be a part of this ’family’ who have made me feel very welcome from day one!
